The team at Jean’s Cafe are cooking up a storm, and everyone is welcome!
Earlier this year, Manor Gardens Welfare Trust (MGWT) launched its new food surplus café & pantry – Jean’s Café. Open 1pm, every Friday, Jean Stokes Community Centre.
The new initiative aims to offer healthy, affordable meat-free lunches and reduce food waste in the Cally, by preparing delicious pay-what-you-feel meals from locally sourced food surplus. Also includes monthly workshops and volunteering opportunities.
